Tesla beats profit estimates, expects strong 2020 production

Tesla Inc on Wednesday defied skeptics and its stock surged to new all-time highs as the electric carmaker posted the second quarterly profit in a row on record vehicle deliveries and said it would deliver more than 500,000 units this year.
